Title: Packwood(516)/ Randle(503) gmu Help!!!
Post by: edmondshunter on September 20, 2007, 08:29:37 PM: Im a 2nd year hunter in western Washington. I want to hunt the packwood/randle gmu's this year and need some access, directions, any info you are willing to pass on. My friend is coming over for elk season from Montana and I dont want to let him down. Thanks

Post by: MagKarl on November 05, 2009, 10:08:33 AM: There is a ton of access to NF if you go South out of Randle and take either the 23 or 25 road. Go far enough and you'll be into the Lewis River unit. Check the Gifford Pinchot NF web site for trail maps, lots of options for camping and trails.

Would like to at least hear an elk bugle.
Anyplace there is a gate right alongside the pavement we could walk for a while ?
