How many guys use arrow wraps? If you do, do you mind sharing a photo of your wrap. I just ordered a dozen from these guys. Check out my design which is C-7107 and is reflective. They also do decals, T-Shirts, etc.. Where do you guys buy your wraps and vane decals...

I use them. I get them from that same place you linked. Mine are just plain white though. Nothing fancy.

Plain white on my hunting arrows.
numbered Black with blue flames on my 3D arrows.
I used Onestringer

Thanks, I'll check them out.

Plane white helps me see the arrow on impact. But now you can use those lighted knocks these days for the folks who have money and are site challenged.

I always hope I never see the wrap on impact :chuckle: But the wraps sure do eliminate a lot of shaft prep and help me find them on pass through. Bright pink on the wife's really help me see the arrow in flight through binos.
They do add some weight to the back which you need to be conscious of. But not nearly as much as a lighted nock. I haven't shot a carbon arrow without a wrap in over ten years. I like them!

Been using wraps on our arrows and boy do the fletchings adhere real well and don't really have any issues with them coming off.
-
I normally just buy 7"wraps and cut them in half. So I get 2 dozen 3.5" wraps for the price of a dozen.

This is the main reason I started using them

Good call, I will be doing that from now on.

Check out onestringer. They will make you pretty much any design you can think of. My next ones will be a Seahawks wrap with blue and green fletching.

I'd be scared that when the animal is close and the hunt is on the line it'd get intercepted by branches. Probably better to run it up and stab it, instead of putting those arrows in the air.

Lol that's awesome.... I'm new to arrow wraps. I've seen them around, but what is the main advantage to using them? Just ordered a dozen custom fletched gold tip hunter pros. I can still add wraps to my order I'm sure

There's two advantages to them.
1) They make you're arrow more visible laying on the ground and going through the air.
2) Helps the vanes adhere to the shafts better.(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.tapatalk-cdn.com%2F15%2F08%2F31%2F1fd70ea2fd95d39fa50fe6dec4dc04f9.jpg&hash=44b001f4c3d6b8efb26a6ec77cfc3d0d673d001e)
The pink and white may no be the most masculine colors but they really stand out against fall colors as opposed to yellows or oranges.

Wraps don't actually improve the way the shooter sees arrows in flight. But they sure make your arrows easier to find. And if you do not get complete penetration for whatever reason the wraps help identify how much penetration you got as the animal bolts away.
For me the adhesion of wraps is less than the adhesion directly to the shaft. But they offset that weakness by being crazy simple to prepare. Half the time I don't even wash my shafts anymore. Just wipe them down with a fresh paper towel and apply the wraps. Haven't had a problem with that yet - knock on wood ;)
They do add some additional weight to the back end which can be problematic. Especially if someone decides to use them with lighted nocks. But I simply add 10-15 grain of insert weight to make up the difference. Would likely be more if I planned to shoot lighted nocks ever again.
Biggest advantage to wraps is the rise in your social standing at the local range :chuckle: :chuckle:

Cool thanks for the helpful info. I can agree with the social standing at the range because the guys with the cool arrow wraps I always notice so they are working for them haha. Ya I would figure that nothing could be better adhesion wise then glueing the vanes straight to the shaft but sounds like fixing vanes it's easier with wraps kind of a give take thing. Thanks again! And good looking arrows theleo those are sweet

I agree.
Pink vanes with green nocks is a great combination for seeing arrows in flight. Most of the wife's arrows are fletched in those colors. Sure helps me when I'm watching over her shoulder! She doesn't lose many arrows either.
