I am 16 years old, have a buddy that is the same age and we can't find anywhere to hunt for early goose! all of the places we have tried to get permission at were already booked for other hunters (Skagit, stanwood, duvall). I was just curious if anyone has a field that they can bring 4 extra hunters in with them! me, my dad, buddy, and his dad. I know this is a long shot, but its probably my only option at this point. thanks!

Sucks at times. I have had to sit out many times due to not being able to locate a field geese are in or crossing. Keep scouting as you have limited fields in the early season, due to crops, harvest times, etc. Check out waterways as they all need to hit them at some point.

At the same time don't be that guy who sits on the edge of a field where there are guys set up and shoot at there birds!!! I have had that happen to me more than once in the early season up in the Stanwood area!! Sucks when you spend time scouting and setting up to have some jack wagon shoot at them on the dike as there on final approach headed for your spread!! >:(

Your at the wrong spot for that type of hunting! No amount of scouting near the dike will keep you away from the bucket brigade and dike busters!

Scout, scout, and scout some more. It's honestly better in the regular season. And I live in The land of geese.

Just curious, where in Stanwood did you check? I live here

Try Ebey Island in Snohomish.
