Does anyone have any experience with these arrow? Ordered a dozen because I read some good things but wanted to see what the HUNTWA guys thought. Thanks!

I used them for a couple years, killed a couple bulls with them
Super straight and flew great for me.
Not the toughest arrow out there
I couldn't get them heavy enough for what I wanted, I switched to Easton FMJ.
Great arrow

It's the only arrow I will use. I have tried eastons, bemans, and carbon express. The gold tips were the better of the arrows I tired. But all bows are different too. I have had buddy's that couldn't get them to fly but they use an Easton and the shoot great.
Like said above very straight and fly very well. Only down side is the weight if you are looking for a heavy arrow.

I really love my goldtips for hunting but can never afford to spend the extra cash on on the pros. So I always buy the xt's.

I buy the Hunter XT and they are on sale at Sportsmans $44.94 a six pack. They have held up and they fly straight.

The gold tip pros I'm shooting are the toughest arrows I've tested so far. I shoot 300 spine at 30" with a 50 grn weight and they are very accurate and come in at 470grs. I've shot one deer so far with them and missed a few last year. Both misses I've had my arrows survived even after hitting rock. The broad heads didn't live though. As long as you have the right spine and a tuned bow I don't think you'll ever have a problem gold tip is one of may favorite. Granted there are straighter and more spine uniformed arrows but I like the goldtip still. The fact that they don't change arrow designs and weights is a huge plus too.

Pro's are a good arrow , I've been shooting for a couple years . Nice to throw 20 grains in the front for foc. But carbon is carbon and really inspect any one that misses your target they blow up just like the rest. :twocents:

Gold Tip Pro's are great arrows. I have been shooting them for the last five years, they are tough, straight and the spine consistence is one of the best that I have tested. The only negative is the inserts I feel the inserts bend a little easier than an Easton insert.
I have taken several elk and deer with the Gold Tip Pro's and they have held every time. Best of luck

Are you using the acculite inserts? I'm wondering if I can switch inserts out to a tougher insert. I hate bending inserts that's why 6 of my 11 arrows I currently have have a wobble and it's annoying

I love the Gold tip expeditions which are the cheapest arrow and I have shot moose, caribou, blacktails, mule deer, buffalo, water buffalo, and watusi which are exotics. If I could pick an arrow I would pick gold tip
