Drop that hammer and fire up the bbq

unless your hunting a true spike area looks like that pt is half way up the main beam and an inch long.
-
I might let him eat a little more. He looks kind of gant. Id shoot his mama or sister if around.
-
I know he seems really skinny! Weird because other spikes and cows and nice and fat.
-
I would make sure he isn't branches on that left side first. Would need a side look first before I shot.

Little points (brow tines) appear to be more than 4" up.....I'd pass

This is why I don't hunt spike units.

That is easily a legal spike (assuming the points visible in the picture are the only points on the bull). The skull on spikes attaches to the antlers about 1-1.5" above the skull plate.
-
I wouldn't risk it. Would suck to shoot it and realize those eyegaurds make it a branch bull.
-
The points visible in this picture are the only points he has. I have quite a few pictures of him.
-
I would shoot that bull. But with that said if you have to ask on the site then you must be having second guesses on it. Only you can make that call to pull the trigger.

That picture was in Idaho though so it could be different here :chuckle:
