Title: WDFW Director wants to hear your thoughts and opinions
Post by: ztirffritz on September 01, 2015, 04:11:37 PM
The new director of the Washington Dept of Fish and Wildlife has asked for input about concerns or needed changes from residents.  If you have some time, please take a few minutes and share any suggestions.  If you have time, but don't have any ideas, might I suggest that you request the WDFW update their airgun hunting regulations:

http://wdfw.wa.gov/wildfuture/

Current hunting regs for airguns were likely drafted in the 1950s with Red Rider BB guns in mind and never updated since then (I'm just guessing here).  Things have changed quite a bit since then.  There are now airguns with velocities close to .22LR hurling .357, .45, and .50cal slugs.  In other states it is legal to hunt deer, elk, bear, etc.  Washington needs to catch up.

I think I'll suggest better predator management.

Ok done. Sent some suggestions to the dog and ponie show!
Started with. Hey new guy read Operation Cody then fire Cenci!
Talked about predetor control, hound hunting for cougars.
The novel they call the regs. And why grown men that have been doing this since childhood have a hard time understanding them. Blah blah blah.
It's all fixed now guys.

I should have sent him the " legal spike right?" Thread.

Need to tell him that it is unacceptable to pay $850,000 to a facilitator for the wolf group.

How good looking is this Love Guru?  The $850K is on top of what they already spent on Kumbaya this year!  Could probably find a good minister, with no ties to pro wolf, that could do the same thing for a $10K donation to his church.

I just sent a bunch of questions to the master of disaster and they weren't wishy-washy. Staight to the point about lies, Conservation Northwest etc. I bet I won't get diddly squat of an answer from Comrade Unsworth..
