Post by: Alpine Mojo on September 12, 2015, 10:44:37 PM: I switched over to the Sawyer two years ago, then switched to the Sawyer Mini this summer. Both are much lighter and compact than the pump I was using before. It's a good filter.

Post by: 7mag. on September 12, 2015, 10:58:22 PM: I've been using one for a few years. They tend to clog up quickly with regular use, and if they freeze, they will stop filtering and you won't know it. Be careful you don't let them freeze.

Post by: sirmissalot on September 13, 2015, 08:47:57 AM: I switched to a sawyer mini this year and love it. I ditched the little squeeze bag it came with and use a 3L platy big zip instead. I run quick disconnects in each end and my main bladder in my bad has one to so I don't have to pull it out to refill. It's pretty slick
