Title: Rattle bags VS. Antlers
Post by: edmondshunter on September 22, 2007, 02:12:01 PM: Which is better? I use a BowTech rattle bag, its compact doesn't weigh much and is easy to pack. Ive had limited luck with it pre-rut. Would I be better off with real antlers?

Post by: jackelope on September 22, 2007, 03:48:53 PM: i've never used a rattle bag...kind of takes away from the coolness factor for me. i use a smallish set of 4x4 whitetail horns for rattling. makes it easier to tick the horns or full-bore rattle, rake brush, etc. stuff you can't do with a bag. i cut the eyeguards off to avoid poking my hands.
