that blows. my sons car was stolen from North Everett 3 weeks ago. no trace :bash:
of course they had recently paid it off and didn't have insurance coverage to cover theft. Live & learn
Hope they at least find the truck, let alone all the gear in it
-
what pisses me off is that EPD REFUSED TO TAKE A REPORT of what i believe was an attempt about 2 weeks ago....both house and truck were messed with. I was HOME and heard the doors shake....saw an individual disappearing around the corner.
Besides...they don't actually LOOK for one. IF the see a truck and IF they remember that its one that was stolen AND they take the time to check it...you MIGHT get it back. I am less than impressed with the police's performance on "Just Property Crime".

There's no point in doing a report at that point there is no description of the individual. The only thing they could do is increase patrols in that area.
I hope you get everything back.

This is it...but it also has boat racks on it on top of the canopy.
-
Sorry to hear! I know your truck well and will keep an eye out.

Might want to look over the classified listings at http://www.s10forum.com/forum/index.php or place a "Stolen" notice.
I feel for you brother. I love my 1992 GMC Sonoma.

No New info, but have been cruising all the favorite Everett vehicle dumping spots. Kinda sick as this is the truck I have been working on for winter and hunting. New brakes, shocks, axle seals and bearings, radiator and AC work.

Apparently. Better not take some custom ATV out of a truck though as that will make the news. :dunno:

There are some stats on how many cars a thief has to steal before getting caught...and its whole number multiples of that before they get prosecuted.
Trust me, its F'ed up BIGTIME. :bash:

He/she will get his punishment eventually. God knows what they have done. But it would be so much more satisfying to remove one of their testicles. At a time. :nono: :violent1:

Unfortunately auto theft is so bad right now not a lot is done with recovered stolens. Same thing with burglaries. The state crime lab is so back logged with evidence from crimes against persons, rape, murder etc, they don't have time to process property crime evidence. If evidence is processed its in house finger print analysis and that is hit and miss at best. DNA can be submitted for property crimes but on average takes a year or so to get results.
Glad you got your truck back in one piece, that's not always the case.

So many comments to make, none of them are constructive. at least you got your pickup back. Vigilante justice just seems like a better option day after day (Ive daydreamed about it before)

Oh Trust me...spent the afternoon going through the game camera cards seeing if i had any hits...HOPING since the police had washed their hands of it that they wouldn't mind a retroactive auto-Karma.
