I have only managed to go out 3 days this year due to school and I havent see anything with antlers! Rather depressing. Heard some bugels for elk and seen a lot of does for deer. Probably can only afford two more days for early season without affecting my school work. Please hunting gods let me see a BUCK!

Helpfull advice:
1) You are hunting in the wrong area - changes areas
2) You stink - take a shower, lay off the AXE and get some cover scent - wind in your face also helps.
3) You move to much - sit still and glass.
carry on

I am patient when i have more days to hunt :(
I probably need to sit more still tho

The only way to see any animal is to drive around.....and have guys on here complain, that, that is not hunting. I see aot of animals that way. Kinda hard with a bow....

Stick with it. Youll find them!

School sucks. It basically eliminates any early morning hunting opportunities/ hunting trips. I'm floatin the same boat

Just remember , it will happen just when you've decided your not going to see anything, you're ready to call it and the last thing you expect to see. Always be ready!!

just hunt at night ! :chuckle:

do lots of scouting. don't wait till the season starts. if you see no deer tracks, don't hunt there. mike w

I scouted a lot during the summer and had about 7 cameras but a fire caused the area to shut down. Dont know if its re opened or not that was mostly for elk and the season ends tomorrow so now I am just trying to go out when I can. Might be able to hunt tomorrow afternoon once class if over but it would be for a couple hours... but hunting for a couple hours is better than no hunting
