That's quite the photo!
A guy told me he called in a pack of six in Idaho, he said he had called in and taken 1 wolf in a previous hunting season, but he said 6 of them come running in and it was pretty wild & western, he said that when the shooting stopped he and his dad got all 6 of them.
-
I love the way that real nice grey one just swings in the wind. He almost looks lifeless!!

Very lucky... You probably won't see any wolves. Just lots of track. LOTS. I thought you said north of the units I've been in. I always bring a tag but my group has only seen one in many years of hunting. No shot. Maybe an e caller after you tag out on deer. Locate them like elk except 2 am. Then drop in.

Now that's too cool there. Wonder how many times the rifles went off before all six were flat. :chuckle: Ida had to reload a few times.

I'll be around elk city for wolves...my cousin has got a couple already and is showing me around  I'm crossing my fingers I want a wolf as bad as a deer
-
Boy oh boy, they would sure make for some nice winter coat liners!!!
-
Awesome photo, I would love to shoot one someday. Saw a bunch in Montana just couldn't get close enough with a bow and didn't have a tag. Tags were like $400 for out of state, Idaho has the right idea on tag prices for out of staters.

Sounds like they realized their error and lowered the cost, very smart move. We quit going three years ago because the wolves had changed the landscape of where we were hunting so much.

you guys are doing a lot for the sport, lifestyle and public image with all these moronic comments. I guess we're all hunters for different reasons.

Welcome to the party JR. What specific comments are you referring to?
