I have family property in the valley that we usually use for the 2012 Methow tag. However this year my dad had our neighbor feed his cows on the peice and they mowed down the thickets. I walked through the peice today but the amount of deer sign was disheartening.
My plan was to pop-up a tree stand tomorrow so i could hunt over a game trail with my daughter for an hr or 2 Saturday and Sunday morning. With the lack of deer sign I don't think we would see any action.
I am wondering if anyone had a peice of land they would let a father and daughter hunt for a little bit Saturday morning.
Pm me with any info. Thanks

Decided to sit at our barn and throw out some apples. We had multiple does, does with fawns come in but didnt take one. We may hit it again tomorrow morning. It was some great father daughter time.

Good luck!

Isn't it illegal to bait (aka. put apples out).

Scary how many folk don't know all the game laws. I know our regs can be confusing but I think most people get the regs just for the dates and go on hear say for the rules.
Good luck to you and your daughter! Wish I could help ya out with some great deer action.
