Seeking any advice on49 north moose for my 78 yr old g ma with lung cancer. We are in chewelah next 3 days.we'd love to get her a bull but any moose will do. She's gone through 2 rounds of chemo so far and she's doing pretty well. I'm willing to go to extreme lengths.she is an avid hunter but my uncle would be carrying her disabled tag.I'm willing to do pretty much whatever it takes to get this special lady a bull. I reiterate that my uncle,my moms brother would be harvesting this bull for her. This hunt is the world to my family right now.thank you ANYONE. Please advise, God bless you all

Can't help you on finding one but. Give a gingle if you need help getting one out.

Get up high on the tower road around Calispell Peak. Stay between the refuge and 4th of July Mtn. Lots of old clear cuts and lots of moose. Watch the cuts, ignore the timber. Moose seem to like cuts over their head so stay above them and look down. You should have no problem getting one. Be prepared for a bunch of work when it's on the ground, bring help. Good luck.

Lots of moose up there. Go drive Calispel and Dirty Shirt

Shoot me a pm if she still needs some help. There may still be time to get a key so she can be as close to the action as possible
