Does anyone here have or have experience with one? I am considering one in .357mag or .44mag more so the .357 mag so i can practice with cheap .38spl and ream it to 357max for longer rage hunting.I have held one in .243win at bass pro awhile back it certainly isn't a contender or encore but the price reflects that.

I am surprised no one has one of these considering the price point :dunno: I guess i will have to be the guinea pig lol. After thinking about it i will probably just buy whatever one i find first regardless of the chambering.

Im interested in what you come up with superdown i might get one too

Handled the .300 Blackout and was impressed with the trigger. Should have bought it....

Generally you get what you pay for, I'd go for a nice used T/C Encore. Probably better quality and a larger variety of barrels, plus you can have the pistol or switch it over to a rifle cheap enough.
The extra money spent on a T/C would be worth the wait time in my oppinion. Plus if you didn't like it you would recoup most of your money back if you decided to send it down the road.
I have been buying up used T/C Contenders, keeping the barrelsand flipping the actions, I have two extra actions I wil be getting rid of here shortly. I just sold a couple of extra barrels that I had double in.
Good luck on what ever you buy.
I really like the 7mmTCU, the 223 and the 35 Remington barrels in the pistol form on my Contenders.

I bought one in .50 black powder. I have been Frankensteing it into a wa legal gun. So I plan on maybe cracking a buck with it this year if mr big does not now up.
KEY NOTE the trigger guard sucks!!!!! I love the trigger and have only got to shoot a few rounds for it. Yet when you shoot the pistol with even a medium load. The trigger guard with that sharp point will crack you in the knuckle every time. On the smaller cal's im sure it would be ok with less recoil but any of the bigger stuff im sure it will result in the same thing im experiencing. The 50 is a cannon with that much black powder.

I had a 308 encore and was not a fan of that level of recoil in a handgun.I also had a contender with a .17rem and 35 remington barrels my mother and i were having fun making mickey mouse heads at 50yds with the .17rem. So i am familiar with them. :)
After more thought i am really considering the .300 blackout seems like a cool round.

The .300 blackout seems cool. I would like for them to come out with a Washington legal muzzleloader pistol

I agree they should :)
I would also like for them to come out with some more variety like 30-30,35rem.6.5 creedmore and maybe some different handgun cartridges like .327fed,480ruger and 454casull.

Just ordered one from a local shop in .300 Blackout today. Backordered so it may be a while before I can report, but it gives me time to choose an optic.
I don't need multiple barrels, and pre-threaded is a big plus since I plan to shoot it exclusively suppressed. I think it will still balance well offhand with the Octane 45 and subsonics. Will probably need sticks to shoot supers through the Specwar. Both should be fun.
