Is this considered baiting for bear if you have the deer in your rig first?!

Sorry pic didn't attach

Is that a grouse too? Looks like you had a damned good day. Nice

Yeah we joked we had a bad day because we only got one grouse! Haha

I shot an elk and then shot a bear that came by while we were quartering it. You would have thought I'd just won the Powerball with all the dancing, whooping and screaming. I never though about that maybe being illegal if it had happened a few years later. Guess I was even luckier than I thought :IBCOOL:
You've got a story to tell the grand kids. What a wonderful day!

Now that's a great days hunting in anyone's book!

Not in my mind, but perhaps it's best not to ask.

It depends on whether or not you moved him to quarter him.

put some bait down for deer, game warden found it and asked about it... told him for deer, he said thought it was bear bait but let me go... seen him again the next day and he said he researched what I was using and that yes, it is for used for deer, but if a bear comes to it, don't shoot it...
(he actually came into my stand to tell me this... kind of f'd my hunt for that day...)
