Title: Who's is hunting in the morning? (duck)

Came home with one drake wood duck, really pretty birds:

Not going to make it out tomorrow... but I did just buy a set of Avian X mallard decoys and a double nasty II call to try out on Sunday! Stoked!!!

One of labs, murphy, learned the hard way not to touch electric cattle fences. Never seen a dog jump so high :chuckle:

Had a flock turn into me but my calls must have been not so convincing or I was parked too close to the birds. Either way it was fun and I'll get better at it! Ended the day with a Surf Scoter duck of all birds :)

P.S. - Geese must know we cant shoot them this week... had one hang out 20 feet from me today for a good 10 minutes before he flew off. See you next week bud 8)

Sure is! Not the greatest lake it seems for getting into birds, but I haven't left skunked yet... I don't think ;)

I've spent a lot of time hunting Kapowsin from a kayak. Never have unlimited there, but always come out with a bird or two. If nothing else I can at least jump something.

Same here. Ive hunted that area a few times and never pulled any ducks outta there.
