Title: Idaho mule deer

The bucks are certainly there but much farther between them, it is very big country with the same up and down cycles Wa has, numbers appear to be down between Whitebird and Riggins right now. Scout this winter. When the snow is high the critters move below the snow line for easy feeding and warmth. They are much more concentrated giving you a chance to see what is around. It is fun to watch several hundred elk with deer thrown in and if your blood pressure can take it, some wolves may show up. Really bad weather at Grangeville usually gives way to spring on the river.
