Well I finally did it. Duck hunting was slow yesterday and so I went and walked the ditches to see if I could find some ducks. Instead I found a bunch of carp so I went and got my bow and ended up getting these guys in about 20 min. Then I was stupid and put the safety stop that is screwed into arrow down and broke my drop away:( there's about 30 more carp that I'm gonna visit once I fix it. It was also my first bow kill!

Right on. Do u mind showing your setup? It looks like u threw a reel on your hunting bow.. If so i wouldnt mind stealing ur idea. I dont want to buy a special bowfishing bow as i dont do it enough to justify another bow.

Sorry it took so long to reply haven't been on the site in a while! But yes I jut went and got the reel and the rod part and screw it directly into the stabilizer hole!! Works great! Then I can take it off to shoot or hunt with.
