Title: Nuisance Beaver
Post by: Trapper John on November 09, 2015, 09:16:02 PM
Well here we go again.  I'm trying to retire.
The beaver have just got to start their building this time of the year.

Had a city call me the other day and said they had a beaver problem in one of their parks.
All signs show that there is only one beaver doing the damage.

The bad thing is that it is a free-roaming dog park   :yike:  Yep
They also said that they want it live trapped.   :o  ya, I'm shocked   :o :o

Now let me see .....  live trapping beaver, with a lot of people and free-roaming dogs
that jump into the water and run all over the place including the edge of the ponds.

They ask if I can do it? ...............    Duh ............Nice challenge ................ YA  :)

So I went out yesterday just before dark when all of the dogs were gone and set the traps.  Checked the traps this morning and got the little bugger.  Job Done, No Animals Were Hurt in the Making  :chuckle:
JC   :hello:

Nice job. Of course, now you have to kill it anyway. Kind of like buying meat at the market. As long as you don't have to see the death, it's not as bad as hunting, right? People are dumb.
