Pretty slow day today. Went out again with Bill W and hit some ponds. Only one bird down and a couple misses. Didnt see a whole lot even flying around. Had about 4 honkers fly over us about 20 yards up. They where lucky it wasnt Wednesday. Still always a good time to be able to get out there.

One fish eater is better than none.

I missed the double. Should of had the drake hoodie as well. Would have mounted them then. But still my first hoodie.

Youre not gonna eat that are you?

I killed it, I'm sure gonna try it.

Lokidog has a recipe for those that he says is killer eating.

I just cut the breast meat out. Figured I would salt and pepper it, then fry in bacon fat. After letting it sit in the fridge for a couple days to get the blood out.

I have a buddy that says if you eat a hoody right away it is pretty decent, the next day though is a different story. I haven't tested this myself since they normally just end up in the jerky pile.

Yep, I could hardly see the end of my barrel the fog was so thick at times. Bagged one ring neck and didn't get a shot at her girlfriend. Didn't see anything else.

Blue bird day but still managed a limit of wigeon and teal.... we could really use some ugly weather.

I kill plenty of fish eaters. Its best to stackem up. I think loki grinds them up

Molly the wild dog made her first open water retrieve on this duck. Thanks for coming down and going out.
