Pretty good price at Midway on the 10x42's.

Good deal for a great set of binos. I might as well have swimming with mine strapped to my chest this season for the amount of water they endured. Still going strong not a single hiccup

Good find!

Thanks for posting this, I have the Vortex viper 10x42's and love them. I got a pair of these for my brother and a pair for myself. This is a great price for a good product.

I have a pair of leupold 10x42 bx2 acadia binos i bought a few years ago. I have never been very impressed with the clarity. Do any of you guys know if these would be any better? Looks like a heck of a buy

Look at the VIP warranty video. Lifetime no matter what happened to it. I found this on youtube also.

Just ordered a pair for my son. Thanks.

Cabela's has them and the 8X42 in stock in Lacey @139.99 and they have a $20 off a hundred dollar in-store only coupon in their flyer that is valid through the 29th. Going to run down and get a pair to keep under the seat in the truck.

That's $119.99 + tax + gas + time.
Why not just order the 10x's?

Do the words "out of stock" ring a bell? I also go right past Cabela's at least once/week.

Sure, however nobody has mentioned that they are "out of stock" now have they?
Some people are way too uptight around the holidays. :chuckle:

I talked to a Vortex guy that I know this morning because I was interested in an 8x42 to keep in the truck. He said that the current Diamond back has been discontinued and the replacement will be out in the spring and that if I do a bit of looking I should find the eights out there. Vortex offered both to retailers at deep discount and quite a few took them up on the offer.
FWIW, I purchased a Vortex Viper 6x32 for about 1/3 of what they had been selling for when they upgraded to HD glass in that line and it is my most used binocular.
