Is a double or triple reed call easier to blow and whats a good call, not cheap?

Double reed call best cheep call I always have on the lanyard as a backup is the promos timber wench. I'm really liking the TNT sweet meat right now.

Check out Phelps game calls duck call, the thing actually sounds really good!

Not chesp is the Echo Meat hanger double reed. Do yourself a favor and get a quality single reed and learn how to use it. RMC CWF I'd a great call.

Zink atm green machine (double) or Nothing but green (single) you could go with the poly carb. Cheaper version (50 bucks) and sounds just as good in my opinion as the acylic expensive version. As I have both. The poly carb just isn't as durable, but haven't had any problems with mine yet :twocents: :twocents:

Single reeds arnt easy to blow. You can do more trick/cool calling with a single reed if your good enough. Start with a double. Learn the basics and buy a nice single after your dialed on double reeds.

shaker call is easiest...

I think a Buck Gardner's double nasty will meet both your requirements of easy to use and financially prudent aka cheap.
It's the best sounding one I have and it was $24. It's a double reed call.

I learned a Falks single reed 20 years ago. That and the Buck Gardner how to blow your duck call on cassette. :twocents:

DR-85 best poly double reed call. Good starter call until you want to invest in the high end calls.

This call is made by Haydels and would be my beginner call of choice......easy to blow and they actually sound like a raspy hen....

I have used the Haydels double reed poly call since they came out and it is my number one choice.
