Anybody have any dealings with this breeder in Kellogg Idaho? We're you happy?  How did your pup turn out? Looking for a new lab and not having much luck. TIA

I don't have any dealings with them. What are you looking for with your new puppy? Have you already put a deposit down on a pup from them?

There are a few breeders in Washington that have great labs for hunting and make great pets as well. Happy to help point you in a good direction if you let me know what you are looking for.

Chocolate female full registration with a "blocky head". Working/hunting dog that can come inside and be apart of our family. Healthy with parents clearances. Looking to get one by middle of march. No I haven't put a deposit down just alot crazier than it was 15 years ago when I got my last lab. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know a thing about them.  I bought my dog from Hightest Retrievers out of Cali.  They are great and my dog is kick a**!  They are field and hunt champion lines.  Look them up.

Check out windriver labs, Ireland farms and Rattlin ridge labs. All 3 are in washington and seem to be mentioned frequently in a positive light by members in these types of threads. I believe ireland farms in particular has chocolates with blocky heads that I've heard good things from members. I know several people with WRL dogs that are very nice hunters with good drive and great noses. Rattlin ridge dogs throw a "point" or hesitation if that's something you are looking for.

:yeah:
My chocolate female from Ireland Farms is curled up at my feet as I am typing this :) Got her last year after putting my last chocolate female down. I have never regretted getting my new pup from Warren. Great in the field and in the house. Truely a pleasure to be around. Feel free to pm me if you want more info. I did months and months or research, phone calling etc.for what I wanted it lead me to Ireland Farms. Othesr listed were also very much on my radar. Lee at WRL was very helpful in my search as well.

Thanks Colin good info:)
There are also a few well know trainers near you that you could give a call and see if they have any litters they know about as well as a few in northern oregon. Jim Gonia, Andy Fontenote, Matt Tuttle, Butch Higgins and Doug Shade. Probably missing a few.

Good thing about that is they might have one or both parents at their kennel that you could go meet as well as know what the parents were like to train.
