Title: Umtanum Ram hunt on TV
Post by: Mfowl on January 13, 2016, 12:04:30 AM: I just watched "Petersen's Hunting Adventures" on the Sportsman's Channel and they showcased an Umtanum Ram hunt. It was pretty cool! The hunter apparently is a resident and drew the tag and is a friend of the host. Maybe this was mentioned on here previously, I hadn't noticed but definitely worth a watch if you can find it. There was a lot of familiar country in the show for sure.

selah butte is the east side of the yakima river canyon. Umtanum is the west side.

Also noticed he said one of the tags was archery and 2 rifle which is patently false, not sure which side of the canyon they were on, but I was leaning toward umptanum
