Buddy and I went out wolf/shed hunting Monday morning. We were driving into our spot when I saw a flash of fur running off through the sage I assumed to be a coyote, but it came into an opening in the sage and it was easily double the size of any coyote and white in color. It disappeared over a small rise and my friend and I ran up to see if we couldn't make it happen. I got a quick shot as it was running through the sage at 200 yds but to no avail. 1st wolf I have seen outside of Yellowstone and I was really hoping to have a wolf rug but maybe next time.
