Headed east to hunt Wenatchee and north of there Sunday and Monday. Anyone have a field report of conditions? I know snow is there and more is coming, but was hoping for more detail as it relates to hunting a pointer. Backup plan is to head further east to the desert if conditions are too tough for the dog. Was in that area around new years and there was 6-8" of powder, was tough hunting, but doable.

Snowed a few inches today but warmed up a bit this afternoon. Going to drop below freezing tonight so I am betting there will be a good crust on top of the snow.

Very likely, darn. We will head over 2 and check it out, fully expecting to head through Quincy and beyond.
Gracias

Family emergency on Sunday, ended up hunting the desert on Monday...a few quail in a new spot, sad to see another season go so quick
