Post by: Aneoakleaf on January 25, 2009, 08:13:18 PM: I saw this on a trip to Oregon...Would this detour other coyotes? Or is it a wolf??

Post by: rainshadow1 on January 25, 2009, 08:18:43 PM: Western tradition, kinda. When someone kills a Coyote on a Rancher's land, lots of times the rancher wants it hung in the fenceline. Not sure if it deters coyotes or just shows the land owners that you're getting a few killed.

That is a coyote.
