Long time reader new user to the board, or any board for that matter. I too have a Tri Color Springer.
-
nice looking dog I love the Springer breed.

Thank you sir, you have a nice looking dog as well. I love Springers. They have a lot of hunting desire and are good family dogs as well. I have AKC papers but I think something else might have slipped into my dogs gene pool. In person he looks like a overgrown cocker. He weighs about 70 pounds and is shorter than most springers.

their are two types of springers the bench bread and the field bread .The field dogs are smaller about 30 to 40 lb with less hair the bench dogs are 50 to 70 lb with long hair. My dog is a cross of the two types and is 42 lb with the bigger head thinner body and shorter hair.
