With turkey season approaching, I was just curious as what method everyone is using. Me personally, I'm going to start out with the bow, but if it gets down to the wire, I might go to the boomstick. If my Dad comes out, I'll probably use the shotgun so we aren't confined to a blind. He doesn't hunt, just wants to come out with me.

I am going to take that "Worst Gun I ever owned", a rusty crusty bolt action, poly choked JC Higgins 20gauge 2 3/4only shotgun.... and turn it into the coolest, most camo-ey, tru glo turkey buster you have ever seen!
Figured I might as well resurrect this ol gun. Will be cool to take this 20 with me as my two kids also will carry 20's for the turkey season....

I usually shoot the first one with a gun and then take out the bow, but it isn't too challenging in the opinion. I am gonna go bow only this year whether i get one or not. :dunno:

Shotgun for sure. May try the bow on #2 bird.
