So I bought a Remington 700 Sendero from that scary jerk "biggerhammer".
He was right, it was a little rough and had seen it's share of home brew paintjobs.
I have an old Leupold with an interesting history that was given to me and I thought WTH, i'll try and match the optic and get in touch with my inner redneck.
Before and after.

I need to clear the rifle and that should make the optic match a little better
-
Did you hang it off the bumper and drag it down the road a ways before you mounted it?
Put some clear over it Gas Monkey Garage style.
Does she shoot?

Not bad. Probably blends in better Then some custom jobs.
