Just looking for input/opinions.

If you prefer radial type brakes, Vais is definitely one of the best. I have one and it works well. I much prefer baffle style brakes so no more radial/ported type brakes for me.
-
I had Ron Bartlett install one on my 300 WM years ago and love it.
-
I use them on my 2 of my rifles
-
They work great unless you want to shoot prone in the dirt. They kick up quite the dust storm in the summer when shooting in the dust. :chuckle:
I think they're perfect on hunting rifles.

Recommendations on prone style brakes

I like the Muscle Brakes or the Benchmark Brake. Defensive Edge, Holland Radial, Ross Schuler and Terminator brakes are all excellent as well.

I have a Defensive Edge brake on my Encore's .300wm barrel. It's awesome.

I run several hollands QD'S they are my fave. Benchmark is a close 2nd.
Precision armament is my fave for radial style brake.
