Title: Washington Wolf Population
Post by: WAcoyotehunter on January 27, 2009, 11:44:45 AM: I don't think anyone knows the answer, but it's worth it to know what peoples general feel for the population is. I think 31-50 statewide.

Good question- I'm not sure how many the WDFW has confirmed? It's also likely that the same animal gets confirmed twice...

I've never seen or herd one in this state.

Post by: Dmanmastertracker on January 28, 2009, 03:32:14 PM: You should have clarified breeding pairs vs. transients, lot more transient visitor's -and no one really knows exactly how many, but quite a few. Take a grain of salt with the DFW reports.
