I went with my Doctor, we sat third row back center isle left side. I'm mailing out Arizona application tomorrow. Then Utah in a day or two, then Florida after I get the prints done. I need to get 2" X 2" passport pictures for these two.

Next WAC gun show April 23rd & 24th in Puyallup the Sheriff from Columbia County will be there doing the Oregon Pistol Permits. I have that application all filled out.

I'll be getting more of them as I get the extra money just because I can.

I'll have to check out New Mexico, i'll be getting Nevada when I go there this summer, I got the Pennsylvania pistol permit last November when I was back there deer hunting.

I'll be going to the State of Maine in two years so I'll get one of them as well just because I can.

Highlandlofts,
Originally they advertised applying for Utah,  than had everyone apply for Arizona as the main state that other states excepted for there CHL?
When I asked about Utah, I was told 20.00 more dollars for another  finger print card to apply for that state?
I grabbed a packet for Florida,  but looks to me that Florida excepts a Arizona permit?
Running late to pick up my wife and had to leave.

The way the recip laws keeps changing the more permits you have the better, they not that much when you spread the cost of the permit over the four or five years of it coarse.

My non-resident pistol permit was $20 for five years, a GREAT BUY and good for around twenty-five States.

It's all good, for the cost of the permits I'll just cut back on buying a decent handgun this year.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nevada is a full day deal, there is like six hours of class room work then two hours of live round shooting, fifty rounds per person. The shooting is at three yards, five yards and seven yards. I looked at the Nevada site and got on the part about the training requirement.

That's not what it's about.  You get the Arizona permit because other states that don't honor the Washington CPL honor the Arizona permit.  Same thing with Utah and Nevada...

Arizona is a good one to get because Nevada honors it. It's a hurdle to get Nevada, you need to go there & take their all day class and apply for the permit then you get the permit in the mail. It's well worth the $60 just for Nevada and the way the reciprocation keeps changing the more permits acquired the better.

There are other state that are constitutional carry as well, but by having the training and being State certified to carry a hand gun would be a plus on your side if you ever need to use your handgun in self-defense.

We're talking about concealed carry.

AZ Constitutional Carry to be specific: both open and concealed carry are allowed for adults > 21 years of age that are not prohibited possessors. Grab your gun and go for a walk. That simple.

There are certain restrictions regarding alcohol establishments and other laws such as GFSZA are still in effect. I heard the 1,000 foot rule isn't enforced though.

Go to the original post and click on to Shaun Curtain's web page, he does the class for Utah, Florida, Oregon and Arizona.

I received certificates for all of them and the cost was $100.

I'm putting all of the applications together and will get them mailed out this week.
Got copies made of things they will need and went this afternoon for Passport pictures for Utah and Florida.

Shaun holds the class through out the State and will be back in Everett here shortly at the Best Western on Pacific Ave.

It was $80 for Utah, Arizona and Oregon, another $20 to get the Florida paper work.
I mailed all four applications out Wednesday, which one do you think will come in first?

What's the time frame from when you mail the application to when they contact you for your appointment?

And then from the appointment until you get your permit in the mail?

I mailed off the Oregon, Utah, Arizona & Florida pistol permit applications on March 30th.

Oregon made contact for the appointment on August 5th.

Utah will probably be the next one to contact from.
