I am thinking ahead here, but I am planning on a backpack bear hunt with my daughter this spring. Who would you guys take the hide to for a rug? Price is a pretty big concern for me.
-
Scotts taxidermy in colville has good prices and he does beautiful work.
-
Only guy I would use is John Hayes of Dumont taxidermy in Libby,Mt.

Dark Timber Taxidermy in Colville, owned by Troy Henderson. He has worked with Pat Scott (Scott's Taxidermy) since he was a kid. Nice shop and fair prices. :twocents:
-
I took my cougar in last Sept and had it in Feb. Same with my deer they got it in Oct and had it back in Feb as well.

Randy Steele, he's done over a dozen mounts, beer rugs and turkey for me. Best kept secret in town. Shhhh :chuckle:

Gods creation, he have a web? I can't seem to find any good web site.
-
He does most of his business through word of mouth. Jeremys number is 509-936-0463. I'm sending him this last year's whitey. He's tanning the cape right now.. 3 to 4 month turn around.

I've used Fuson's taxidermy out in Nine Mile falls a couple of times and have been very impressed with his work.
