Does anyone use them on their furs? Have thought about getting some but wanted to hear ur guys opinions/experience with it first

I just use a wire brush.

I use my air compressor and blow out all the fur. Hang up animal and go against the direction of the fur it's amazing how much dirt comes out and if it's wet you can blow off all the water making you have a dry and clean pelt to begin with! Especially cats and marten they have a fluffy fur that kinda clumps or matts when wet makes them look good when you turn them fur out after stretching for a day already dry and good looking :twocents:

If I have something dirty I wash it before I flesh in water with a little detergent in it.
Greasy furs like otter, mink, civets I have a drum and drum them in 1/8"corn cob grit after fleshing.
Bobcats I dry wash in borax and blow out with a compressor. This is after they are dry.
A good brush and hanging in front of the fan helps too.
That is to sell them but if I am sending to the tannery I don't do much except wash blood out prior to drying.
