Title: Project duck hunting boat
Post by: gasman on March 13, 2016, 01:25:43 PM
Picked this up today and plan on m!ingredients it a duck ki.ling boat......

It was free and that's the best price  14 feet,  and suppose to not leak  :dunno:

The guy did some shotty  repair work on the transom but no biggie, I will clean it up a bit, it's still solid as well as the floor.
Son in law has a trailer to use for it too. Planning on  cutting out the top of the bow, and putting a seat in the front on a pedestal.  Another seat in the back on a storage box, and a removable seat or  storage box/ice chest in the middle. Lots of open space in it

Camo paintball a scissor blind and we will be set  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

Free boats aren't always the best price.  Lesson learned.  They can cost you a lot of money in the end some times.  Just go through it and make sure nothing is rotten wood wise.  Fortunately fiberglass is fairly easy to fix if the structure is still good.  Good luck on the build.
