I acquired a Leuy Vari XIII 3.5-10x50 for the top of my Tikka. Fabulous scope and the rifle drives tacks. No complaints...other than it has a gloss finish. Ive visited the Leupold website and they offer just about any custom job on a scope other than tube refinish. Anyone know of any reputable resources that can change the finish of a scope? I don't want any funky paint job out of a spray can. There has to be a company that can epoxy coat, powder coat or some type of durable coating out there that can do it. Any ideas??

Personally I wouldn't even worry about it. Iv'e been hunting with a shiny Leupold Vari X II for 20 years now and it hasn't kept me from killing any animals ;)
Unless your sniping people over in Iraq :yike:

The scope could be subject to damage hydroprinting it. Thats the one item not garenteed to work after the process.

Thanks guys. Ive been super busy and sick lately and I completely forgot about my post :yike: Sounds like it may not be worth changing. I sure wish Leupold could do it. Oh well. It was just a cosmetic thing.
