I am anxiously awaiting the results of the tooth report from the WDFW. I was wondering if anyone had gotten their results from 2016 back yet?
The more I think about it and look at the skull from the bear I got I'm thinking dang he was a nice bear. i wonder how old he was.
Can't wait to go hunting in Kapowsin for spring bear with Hubby- he got drawn for a spring bear tag.

Dont hold your breath. I have harvested 15 bears and only 2 are in their website. I have submitted teeth and never see anything come back to me. I have recieved 3 of the little postcards back from WDFW over all of the years I have submitted them.

I have had a very bad tIme getting info back as well. Stopped sending teeth in because I got frustrated when I didn't get any info back. In 2014 I drew a cow moose tag and after harvesting my moose I brought the whole head to the spokane office and was assured by the bio I would receive the info. Never got it. In 2015 drew a spring bear and after harvesting a bear I talk to a game dept official and told her I would send in the tooth and tissue sample if I could be assured I would get the info later. She told me that if I didn't send it in she would mark my name as non compliant and that would affect my ability to draw tags in the future.

I just looked mine up and it said he was 4. I really thought he would have been older then that for as big as he was. I would say your bear is around 5-6.
