I just wanted to give a positive review of the company. I haven't received my arrows yet (they are in the mail from Cory over at XXX) but I emailed a couple questions to black eagle arrows and I didn't get an email back, I received a call from the owner Randy. He walked me through what he through options and gave me a recommendation. Pretty cool that an owner would care enough about his product to give someone, who as never been a client, a call.

30" Spartan with wrap and 2" 3 fletch 125 gr tip. Total weight with 267 gr.
I cant wait to try them out.

My buddy just ordered these arrows, they look pretty cool. Let us know how they shoot.

I've really been looking at those pretty hard, mind saying how heavy of a spine they are? Is 267 grains the total weight with a 125 gr point screwed into the end of it? Seems like that would be the weight with out the tip.
-
Made in U.S.A. ? Didn't see that info on their website.

Great arrows! Myself and friends have bought BE arrows from him. Had a lot of problems with half-outs coming out inside targets....really frustrating. Hopefully he's figured out a remedy for this.

Is that with 300 spines or 250's?

300 with no brass insert.

I shoot the 250 rampage series. I to had issues with the inserts coming out. The issue ended up being the glue. I just went and bought some epoxy and they haven't come out again. In my opinion they are the best arrows you can by.

As a traditional bowhunter, I'm happy to see an arrow manufacturer making wood grain shafts that come in longer lengths (34"). I've heard nothing but good things about their products.
-
I ended up having a couple inserts come out too. They said it was because I used rubbing alcohol to clean out the inside of the shaft even though I let the alcohol completely dry. Anyways, havent had any other inserts come out yet and they are flying great. Im shooting the 300 Spartans.
-
I recently built up a set of Spartans and they are flying well for me so far. +1 on the customer service too - during the purchasing process I sent an email and they responded within an hour or so. I cleaned out my shafts with rubbing alcohol too and have not had inserts come out yet (knock on wood).
Regarding weight I am shooting a 300 spine cut to 28.5 inches, 125 grain heads, 30 grain brass insert, 3 blazers and blazer wraps = 482 grains total.

I've been shooting the Black Eagle Rampages the past 5 months. Out of the box, great consistency across the dozen I bought. I found the spine using the bathtub trick, fletched them and they all seemed to fly well.
My only complaint is that they seem to be a little on the fragile side, they don't seem to hold up to glancing nock hits quite as well as my carbon express maxima hunters.
