Title: Small game/game bird species of the San Juan islands
Post by: survivalist to the bone on April 27, 2016, 01:15:00 PM: What game bird and small game species live up on the San Juan islands? I have done some research and can't find any info.

See them mostly on the south end.

Post by: Bullkllr on April 27, 2016, 05:08:17 PM: Anybody remember when San Juan was absolutely overrun with rabbits? Not so much anymore. I'm sure there's still some there. Can't imagine where to hunt though unless you have a private 'in'.

I think lokidog killed all the Decature turkeys, he hasn't seen one in a while. :dunno:

I've seen some huge racks on some small bucks out there.

I've also seen some rats the size of cats.
Those islands are seriously infested with rats.
