Took the kids out to Oak Creek to see some elk. We saw some cool bulls, one with a nice drop tine, one with some cool extra growth, and a couple playing around. There where still some nice bulls and few spikes. The kids had fun seeing all the animals. I definently need to practice with the new camera.

There was one with heavy mass and nice wide spread hanging out back at the rocks. I couldn't get a good pic of him.

That is a weird lookin elk. Never seen one like that before. Almost looks like a shovel like a caribou :dunno:

I am not that familiar with this part of the country. Where is Oak Creek in relation to Seattle??

Oak creek is just outside of Yakima on Highway 12.

It's on Hy 12 about a 1/2 mile or so west of the intersection with Hy 410.

That 3rd horn is really cool. Looks like the kids had a fun time.
