Anyone know much about these, they look high quality, kinda interested. Thanks

Been very curious myself. Been wondering which is better. Butler or Western Hunter. Same price but similar.
-
That's the other one I was trying to remember, hard choice as they both seem really nice.

I have a Butler Bag. That thing is AWESOME. Ive used it at Elk camp in New Mexico where temps dropped into the teens and stayed pleasantly warm. Ive also used it in the Olympics for bear hunting. It is heavy (25 lbs). But well worth it.

25 Lbs...? Does that include the mattress ? :o

From what I understand you can choose a pad to put in either one. I think they are definitely 20 plus pounds as is.

No. That is just the bag in its storage sack. It is made out of canvas and the inside is flannel. It has 2 layers you can crawl under plus a head cover. Not sure if the proper name for it. I am 6ft 4 and 300 lbs and it is plenty roomy for me. I love it. Its not a bag to take on a backpack hunt even though i have mulled that thiught over due to its awesomeness

I would love to compare the butler and western hunter side by side, but I appreciate what you have to say about yours. How much did yours cost and how long have you had it?
-
Not sure about the cost. It was a birthday present. Ive had mine for 4 years now. You wont be disappointed. Ive even thought about rolling it out in the backyard to sleep. Glad i could be of help.

I believe that they are both priced the same at $420. Not sure about the western hunters but the butlers are made in America.

You guys should check out the Teton elk hunter sleeping bags. 120$ and rated at -35. I'm 6'6" and 315 pounds and couldn't ask for more out of a big camp sleeping bag. Especially when comparing the prices. Canvas outside and flannel inside.

25lb sleeping bag?!
