I wouldn't put it past them. I doubt there is much oversight. Maybe we need to set up a draw audit commission who monitors the draw :)

I don't know if you guys have heard the name but the guy who introduced legislation to require IDFG to use an outside company to run the draw was Mike Moyle, he is the same jackwagon who keeps trying to force IDFG to implement bonus points, a new landowner tag system where all landowners with 200+ acres get tags to sell to the highest bidder, and auction tags. He's just mad because he doesn't have guaranteed landowner tags to sell for thousands of dollars so he is taking it out on IDFG

I hear that it's getting harder though. Rumor is that they've figured out if you shut your rig off that need to start running. I hate shooting with my scope being fuzzy from the vibration of the engine. That's why I never apply for it either, nothing to do with the fact I have a job, a wife and 2 young boys so can not commit a month of my life to living from a backpack and chasing sheep for a month. thanks first scouting trip is already on the books. Huge unit though got to try to narrow my starting places down.
Start at the NV boarder an work your way north. And pray for snow to move elk into ID.

So my buddy, who only put in because I told him to apply, just got his notification in the mall that he drew the rut hunt for unit 11 rifle mule deer. He didn't even check the results online when they came out.
That will be an amazing hunt! I cant wait to draw that tag someday!
