Title: AZ deer and sheep draw

Post by: Bean Counter on June 08, 2016, 10:29:30 AM: Arizona has added "Point Guard" this year, which allows a hunter to forfiet the fees and tag for getting their points back. Did anybody invest in this? Should lead to an increase in point creep :(

Post by: Bean Counter on June 10, 2016, 08:55:37 PM: If you want to add the new Point Guard feature to your applications you should sign up tonight if you haven't already. I put in for my tags a few days ago and it wasn't until today that the option showed up on my AZ portal. You have to buy the point guard before the end of the application window so don't delay if you want to invest in this.

Bean, BTW, I bought the $5 insurance for deer. I'd bail on the deer tags I applied for if needed, could just keep the points and go again next year. Didn't spend the $5 on sheep, I'd need to be dead to bail on winning the sheep lottery!
