Title: Blackrock ranches any elk tag

Hunting on Blackrock is managed for a quality experience by scheduling hunt dates and keeping the number of hunters in the field low. Hunters with limited flexibility for hunt dates may experience scheduling problems. Hunters can generally expect one day hunts during the permit season with written authorization for the hunt manager. All successfully drawn permit applicants will receive an information packet detailing hunt rules, regulations, and scheduling.

Post by: Rainier10 on June 13, 2016, 05:01:35 PM: My buddies kid drew a tag a couple years ago on one of the other ranches that have this type of permit. Said he got the call to come for one day, drove around with the land owner and didn't see any elk. The landowner let them return the next day, they did see one bull elk but no cows and he didn't end up harvesting anything. If they aren't there at the time of your hunt that is just the way hunting goes I guess. Hopefully you guys have better luck.
