My map looks beautiful from all the notes and markings I have put on it the last 6 years from observations in the 352 and 356. Yeehaw!!
I might have to hire some sherpas for where plan A and B takes me.
-
congrats man! I wasn't so lucky with my archery tag. after I chase cows around ill let ya know where I saw bulls.
-
My buddy drew Goose Prairie quality archery. He knows the area good enough and is like a billy goat. Should do good. Last time he drew a bull tag it was Bethel and got a 360+ bull.
-
I'll be right across the gravel road in bethel, good luck sir!
-
Congrats !!! message me Im sure we could help you out.

I also drew modern Goose Prairie Bull this year. Had the same tag 8 years ago and ended up eating it so redemption time. I've hunted the Nile unit my whole life and love it. Been in the bulls quite a bit last few years so I got high hopes, but I said the same thing 8 years ago.

Drew the same tag. First big game tag I've drawn in this state besides spring bear this year and 5 years ago. Should be fun
-
Naches, send me a PM. I can help. And I only require dinner.

I drew this tag also (archery), was supposed to be in a group and the other guy missed the deadline so I am on my own. Good luck!
-
I've called in some very big bulls up in the William O, I never could draw a tag.
-
Should be another good rag horn crop this year.
-
I hiked the PCT from stampeed pass to White pass last year ran into some pretty good elk in places, good luck
-
Fun tag to have. Love the GP!

Having a tough time keeping my cam upright in hell hole #1. Went in last Tuesday night to check it and it was nocked down by a spike. Went in Friday morning and a bull decided to chew the p-cord off. Attached about 30 feet of p cord to it. Hopefully that does the trick. Have had deer, elk, bear, 1 kitty, and a Billy goat on it so far in the 4 days total it's been upright in the 3 weeks it's been up there.
Here's a picture of a calf that was with its mom hiding in the trees while I checked my cam.

Did u say stamped to white pass? Thats a long one! How long did it take u?

I'm new to the Goose Prairie unit. My daughter and I drew it as our third choice this year. I went over and did some hiking and sight seeing this last weekend on the south side of bumping lake and to the top of Nelson ridge. Beautiful scenery and some recent elk sign. I could sure use some help to find a decent spot for access and animals I really want to be able to watch my daughter shoot her first bull. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

What season is your tag for? That will determine a lot.

Would love to run into this guy!

If I was you and had that tag I would pass that bull up and go after something a bit bigger. As Nice as he is we diffidently have bigger ones in that unit. (just my opinion)Think steep and deep
Good luck on all your hunting adventures

Here's one from one of my cams.
I don't care about size, the fun of hunting and scouting is what keeps me at it.
-
2 words...Russell ridge.
Oh Bootjack rock too.....lots of elk...
-
Going to continue with looking in the southern portion of the unit tomorrow. Good scouting trip today. Seen a lot of elk and no one else in the vicinity of where I was!

How's the hunt going?
-
I dropped the trailer off this afternoon. Well look for you tomorrow. I hope you have connected.
-
I'm having fun hunting solo :)
Makes it a lot harder, but I like solo adventures.
-
Got a bull Thursday afternoon, thankfully my brother and a couple of GOOD friends helped pack out the meat Friday.
All the spikers were on the way in while we were headed out. I was lucky to tag out before that fiasco started.
Have you been seeing many bulls?

I've seen one branched bulls antlers about 6 pm thursday sticking above downed logs. He was all by himself. Seen 3 spikes Monday and Tuesday about 3 miles due north of where the bull was.
Changing it up tomorrow and seeing if the road hunters will push a bull my way.

Hunted spikes in the Nile and Bumping this year and saw nothing but 4 cows and 12 branched bulls! Quite frustrating to say the least but still a fun hunt, also saw 9 Mt Goats
