Put a tripod adapter on my new Zeiss 15x56's?
-
I know Outdoorsmans. com will tap Swarovski binos for a tripod stud. Maybe they can do Zeiss.
-
Well I think it's already tapped I just can't get the cover off . I feel like I'm going to break something.

On the Swarovski there's 2 little gaps in the front cover that you can slip a small screwdriver in. Never held the Zeiss so I'm just guessing. Does it maybe thread off ?

It's inset so you can't spin it off. I thought it was just like a hard plastic plug but it sure seems like I'm going to break it prying it out. Nothing on the Internet's about it either.

Josh, It sounds to me like they're broken. I better take them off your hands! Jealous. Eli

Haha. I got them from a guy in Cali. Found out a little about him through the exchange. I'll text you some pictures in a bit Eli.

I don't remember Zeiss being tapped. But it's been a long time.

Redraw they have a mount just for their binos now that comes in the box.

I take that back. It came in the box I got. The guy I bought them from may have bought it separately.

In htis video it looks like the Swaro adapter, but I would stop before I broke something. Give Eagle Optics a call and they will walk you through it .

Never mind I got it.
