Title: How to find out what timber company owns property.
Post by: mmullins on June 12, 2016, 04:24:55 PM: I did not buy a Weyerheauser permit this year and trying to figure out where to head. I used to hunt down in the Williams creek area but not sure who owns it now and what kind of permit I would need. Is there a good website that states what timber company owns what?

Post by: fishnfur on June 12, 2016, 10:47:57 PM: They (Rayonire) sell access passes, walk-in, and drive in (leases w/ camping I believe). The latter is a lot more money. Better contact them soon. I think the passes available have a cut off date, after which, they will no longer be available. I could be wrong on this - I talked to them back in Jan/Feb at the Sportsman's Show, so I'm not positive on this. If I lived in Rochester, I might have pursued it - much better access than from down here.
