So my question is, what kind of fluid does the pump take for the slide out. I have called a couple different RV places and one says hydraulic fluid and the other says ATF. Have to go back to Idaho this weekend for my father in laws memorial and were pulling the 5th wheel over. 1994 fleetwood prowler 28'.
Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Check the fluid currently in it. Very easy to distingush between the two. But most likely it would be hydraulic fluid. ATF is a type of hydraulic fluid but used for different applications.
