Title: Knight price jump
Post by: BUTTER on June 26, 2016, 01:10:27 AM: Holy crap, just looked at knights website has anyone noticed the outrageous prices jump on these muzzleloaders? I am sure glad I picked up my disc extreme earlier this year or I wouldn't be able to buy one

If you look into the ultra lite it's got a B&C stock fully adjustable trigger and there green my barrel. I thought it would kick bad cause of the lack of mass. I have hunted with mine for two years now with pretty good success. But I can understand why people think they area expensive also I pick mine up for $650.

If you can find one at a Sportsman's WHSE - they are still $749...

The bulk of the price increase is the new trigger Knight is using... Instead of using a copy of the Timney it is the real thing!!! A full 3 screw TimneyTarget trigger.

The previous manufacture could not supply Knight.

I would bet... thtthe only place yoou will be able to get the trigger is from Knight. They probably have the contract ritten that way.

I looked at their website the other day and was surprised to find the prices had gone up several hundred dollars since I bought mine. You can still find unused prior models that are still affordable at Sportco, Sportsmans Warehouse, and the like. Looked at the ultralite at a shop around Mt Vernon, it was $670. Anyhow, if you're military, veteran, and I think LEO or FF; call their customer service line and order directly from them, they knock off 10%.
